A Majestic Attraction

We collaborated with myhotelbreak when they visited us here at Abbeywood Estate. Find out what they discovered in this guest blog edition:

Cheshire is an old favourite of ours to visit. It’s got so much to offer. Guests told us they had visited a wonderful attraction called Abbeywood Estate & Gardens when they were staying in our Cheshire hotels where they experienced the well-kept gardens and more. As we were down there for a few days in July we decided to do some background research into Abbeywood. We realised we had to visit due to the rave reviews that it has gotten from its guests and visitors.

Let’s find out more…

Abbeywood Estate is known to be one of the prime wedding locations in the area and when we ventured here we found out why. We were truly blown away by the beautiful setting. The gardens are really extensive. You enter the gardens via the tearoom (more on that later) and the second you step foot outside you’re truly struck and taken aback by how well landscaped the whole area is.

Not only are the gardens large in scale but they have such a variety too. Woodland backdrops, well kept lawns, exotic flower beds and herbaceous borders. We were really lucky to be during the summer months as it was the whole area was full of so much colour as well.

We could have spent hours here. What made it more magical was the wildlife throughout Abbeywood including several butterflies and bees going about their day.

The tropical garden next to the tearoom was a real highlight too. So many different plants to experience which again was impressive. We explored all the gardens in an hour or so and we really wanted to go and unwind after the early afternoon stroll.

The Café

We decided to get something at the tearoom. It was the perfect way to end an excellent day at Abbeywood. The menu had a real variety and the food was cooked to the highest standard. The staff were really friendly and were more than happy to assist us with anything too.

There is so much more on offer at this attraction too. It’s known for its weddings as mention and you, the reader, can also  can understand why it’s held in such high regard now.. It’s a venue where there are countless post card picture opportunities.

Added to this, there are an array of really nice accommodation options too.

When in Cheshire, visit Abbeywood Gardens for an experience like no other.
